Bean Bros Brewing Co. ("Bean Bros," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through beanbrosbrewingco.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors, customers, and Subscribe & Save subscribers in the United States.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Order & account information: name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing address, collected when you check out or manage a subscription.
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, on Stripe-hosted checkout pages. We never see or store your full card number — see Section 3.
- Communications: anything you send us by email, such as customer service requests.
- Marketing sign-up: if you opt in to receive emails from us, we collect your email address for that purpose only.
Information collected automatically
We keep automatic tracking to a minimum. As of this policy's last update, the Site does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Netlify) and payment processor (Stripe) may log standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for security, fraud prevention, and service operation. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent first.
2. How We Use Information
- To process and fulfill orders, including recurring Subscribe & Save shipments
- To create and manage your subscription and provide self-service billing management
- To communicate with you about your order, shipment, or account
- To send marketing emails, only if you've opted in, and always with an unsubscribe link
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting recordkeeping
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to operate the Site and fulfill your order:

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bean Bros, our customers, or others.
4. Cookies
Our own domain does not set marketing or analytics cookies. When you proceed to checkout or manage your subscription, you are briefly on Stripe's hosted pages, which set their own cookies under Stripe's privacy policy to process your payment securely.
5. Marketing Emails
If you sign up to receive marketing emails, every message will include a working unsubscribe link and our physical business address, and we will honor opt-out requests promptly, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. We will never sell or rent your email address to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain order and subscription records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns or disputes, and meet our tax and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize the data.
7. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from marketing emails, at any time by emailing hello@beanbrosbrewingco.com. Active Subscribe & Save subscriptions can be managed or canceled directly through the self-service billing portal linked from your account.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address above; we will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Other State Privacy Laws
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising or sale of personal data. The same contact above applies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe on PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure; we never receive or store full card numbers. Administrative access to order data is protected by authenticated, signed sessions.
10. Changes to This Policy
We review this policy at least once every 12 months and will update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make changes. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
